Fractals: Interesting rotation: The point that fractals attract me is its interesting rotating system and iterations it creates. Although , normally it's consisted of one same shape but in different iterations, it's still an awesome experimental structure. It starts from an original shape and keeps creating different iterations to make another different view of art.
Crystals: Natural structure, starts from an point and goes to amount of different directions with a certain shape or different shapes. This one-to-many structure creates interesting patterns as a whole and iterations it could create is very worth to expect. Of course, in grasshopper we could create lots of cool shapes and patterns by controlling things like sliders . It's transforming potential is very interesting to me.
Weaving : Weaving is a special structure, it interconnects two or more lines or polyines together in a certain order. Its floating concept could be the main reason why weaving is special comparing to other structures. And the way how it is connected is quite complicated and someties in 3D models, some of those interconnections have to be broken up to make a beautiful shape, I guess this is also one of the reasons Jeremy asks us to stay away from Weaving at this stage. But in fact, weaving it's really really interesting and I just wanna have a try on it.
